As one of the main themes of today's world development, “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals” and intellectualization provide new opportunities and challenges for the application, innovation and development of fluid power and mechatronics technology. Fluid power and mechatronics, as important supporting technologies in mobile machinery, aerospace navigation, manufacturing and other equipment, need to accelerate their evolution in energy transformation, intelligence, high reliability and technology integration to provide support for the upgrading of electromechanical equipment.

The International Conference on Fluid Power and Mechatronics, hosted by the Fluid Power Transmission and Control Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, held every 4 years, is an international high-impact academic event, and has been successfully held for 8 sessions since 1991. Over the years, the conference has received strong support from the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, IEEE, and GFPS. Germany, Japan, the United States, Northern Europe and other countries and regions have sent representatives to participate in the conference, establishing and consolidating exchanges with international counterparts. The topics and contents of the conference are hot topics of the world's attention, which advance the breeding of original and intersecting academic viewpoints and ideas, and promotes the exchange and promotion of research results. The conference has created a relaxed and active atmosphere for multi-dimensional and intersecting academic exchanges such as universities, enterprises, social organizations, and scientific research institutes, and provided a good opportunity for further cooperation at all levels.

The 9th International Conference on Fluid Power and Mechatronics will be held in Lanzhou, China on August 18 to 21, 2023 by Lanzhou University of Technology.Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province, geometric center of China's terrestrial territory, is a famous cultural city on the Yellow River with a long history. The natural landforms of Gansu Province are rich, diverse and spectacular. The Hexi Corridor, which is about 1,000 kilometers long from east to west, is the hub of the ancient Silk Road and a splendid “cultural corridor”.

Welcome to Lanzhou!
